Aseer Boys Home
Aseer Boys Construction
Aseer derives from the Tamil word “aseervadh,” meaning “blessing.” This is what we hope the children feel as they go through our home, their invaluable worth and the blessing they are. It became abundantly clear that a separate boys building was needed to meet the requirements of the new legal amendments. So we set out on the journey to do so, the vision for the boys home is expansive. We are wanting to complete a boys home with living quarters for staff, library, art room, music room and a small sports hall. We feel a holistic upbringing and environment is particularly important to be accessible for children traversing backgrounds of abuse and trauma.
Avia Girls Staff Quarters
A major component lacking in our girls home is a staff quarters, although a singular room exists for our dormparent. It would be necessary with the expansion of our home to have space to facilitate short and longterm workers. We would like to have contributions from people in different professions from creative capacities to therapeutic assistance. The more children we accept into our home the better it would be to have more staff in order to support and cater to children in a more deep and effective manner.
