Our Purpose
To embrace orphans and children from broken and marginalized families providing them with good education, a loving environment and carving out a promising future for them which will in turn help their families at home.
Living Life Together
Eating, playing, learning, working — Every moment together is a vital piece of our lives
ASEER BOY’S HOME
The Aseer house is home to boys between the ages of ten and eighteen. Aseer is a place where boys are able to grow into men of resilient character. Many of these boys have fathers who suffer from alcoholism and mothers who have passed away—others have no parents at all.
Aseer is encircled by nature. It is comprised of dining, reading, and recreational rooms, as well as an outdoor playground that includes a football and volleyball field. Early in the morning the boys tend to some of their animals—bunnies, chickens and ducks. Upon completing their schoolwork you often will find them enjoying competing in football, busy constructing their latest lego empires or entertaining our little puppies.
AVIA GIRL’S HOME
The Avia house is home to girls between the ages often and eighteen. Our desire is for the children to have a holistic upbringing and opportunity to cultivate their skills and talents. Some of these girls are orphans and some come from homes that cannot support them due to alcoholism and extreme poverty.
Avia is nestled amidst coconut trees. It is equipped with dining, reading, and recreational rooms, as well as an outdoor playground that includes a football and volleyball field. After coming back from school and completing the day’s homework you often will find the girls either gardening, swinging together in the playground or working on various Indian crafts.
Holistic Development
Every aspect of a child’s life is a crucial part of development — we strive to value and care for them as whole beings. Having deep all-encompassing connections is what is most important to us.
Compassion
Our desire is for every child to understand how richly they are valued and loved, and for them to also be able to show love to those around them.
Character
We assist the children in developing their ability to take on responsibility and to form healthy behavioral patterns that will serve them throughout their life.
Family
At the end of the day we want to build and grow together as a family that supports and loves one another throughout the various challenges of life.
